Science Exploration Days

The sciences are alive at Stetson University. Learn about our science programs and experience the personalized attention students receive- explore what it's like to be a science major at Stetson University! Our Science Exploration Days will allow you to attend classes, meet our science professors, take a "behind the scenes" tour of our science departments and have lunch with students in your area of academic interest.
Space for this event is limited, so reserve your spot today. Reservations must be made at least two days prior to the event online or by calling 800-688-0101.
Discovery Day
Discovery Day is a day designed specifically for students who want to explore the many different areas of study that Stetson University has to offer. It is also a day that demonstrates what the university does to facilitate students' development and the resources that are available to them through the Discovery Program. Discovery Day will allow you to interact with our renowned professors, explore your academic interests, hear from current students what it's like to be a Hatter and find out what to expect in your first year as a Discovery student.
Hatter Saturday

Hatter Saturday is the event for accepted students and is the beginning of your experience as a Stetson University student. Hatter Saturday is a full day of fun and learning, and both students and parents are encouraged to attend.
Students will:
- Participate in a community-engaged learning activity
- Learn more about your intended major
- Tour various residence halls and speak with the Office of Residential Life
- Set up their email account and obtain their Stetson ID
- Make at least 10 new friends
Parents will:
- Enjoy a reception at the president's house
- Be introduced to the Stetson Parent Association
- Meet Financial Aid staff and learn how to make Stetson University more affordable
- Learn about community engagement and Stetson University's values
- Receive tips on how to help your student have a successful first-year experience
