Women and Gender Studies Committee
This Committee will consist of twelve members of the faculty and five students.
- To provide guidance to the director of the University's Academic program (minor) in Women's and Gender study.
- To support campus conversation on gender; the historical experience of woman and gay, lesbian, and bisexual persons; and contemporary challenges to gender equity and understanding.
- To sponsor nationally recognized lecturers and provide workshops and special events where members of the Stetson community can engage gender issues.
- To recognize outstanding student scholarship and leadership on women and gender issues.
