Stetson University accepts applications for currently available faculty positions as long as the positions are posted. Applications may be submitted to the appropriate dean's office in either the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Music or the duPont-Ball Library (depending on the position). Open faculty positions are listed below.

A doctorate or otherwise terminal degree in the respective (or related) field is preferred; applicants with A.B.D. or masters degrees will be considered. Applicants should have experiencing teaching college-level classes in a liberal arts setting or a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate students. A review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Anthropology

The primary responsibility of this position will be to teach two introductory cultural anthropology courses at Stetson University's DeLand campus during the fall 2014 semester. The minimum qualification is M.A., M.S. or A.B.D. in anthropology, with a preference for someone who has already taught anthropology at the college level.

Economics

The primary responsibility of this position will be to teach two introductory Essentials of Economics (ECON 103) courses at Stetson University's DeLand campus during the fall 2014 semester. The minimum qualification is a master's degree in economics and experience as a college teacher in a liberal arts setting or demonstrated ability to teach economics to undergraduates.

Gender Studies

The primary responsibility of this position will be to teach one introductory gender studies course at Stetson University's DeLand campus during the fall 2014 semester. The minimum qualification is M.A., with a preference for someone who has already taught courses with a focus on issues of gender, race, social class, sexuality and/or related issues of social justice at the college level.
