Hand Grants

Paul Croce, Professor of History and American Studies, who will serve as a lecturer in American intellectual history at the University of Roma in Italy during the spring of 2013 and as a scholar-in-residence at the University of Potsdam in Germany in June 2013.
Bill Nylen, Professor of Political Science, awarded a year-long Fulbright research and teaching fellowship in Maputo Mozambique, where he will teach a course on practical methods of participatory democracy and research efforts to implement participatory democratic practices in Mozambique at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo.
Nathan Wolek, Associate Professor of Digital Arts, who will spend six months in Norway during the fall of 2012, working on significant enhancements and extensions to Jamoma, an open-source software library for computer musicians at the Bergen Center for Electronic Arts.
