CONSTANTINOPLE SYNOD CONFIRMS DRAFT OF CHARTER OF ORTHODOX CHURCH IN UKRAINE
A press release about the decision of the Synod of the ecumenical patriarchate has just been [at 7:49 p.m. Kiev time—tr.] published in Istanbul.
The date for the unification council has still not been announced.
The document says: "In the context of the previously adopted decision of the ecumenical patriarchate to grant autocephaly to the Ukrainian church, and in anticipation of granting a patriarchal and synodal tomos, the Holy and Sacred Synod prepared a draft of the charter of the Ukrainian church."
