Various ways for disposition of Jehovah's Witnesses' property

JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES' PROPERTY PUT UP FOR AUCTION FOR 9.2 MILLION RUBLES IN KUBAN

Two buildings and parcels of land belonging to Jehovah's Witnesses of the city of Gulkivichi are scheduled for sale at auction on 20 November.

 

In Krasnodar territory, arbitration manager Sergei Kryazhev put up for auction property of the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses of the city of Gulkevichi. A corresponding announcement was published on the website of the Uniform Federal Register of Notifications of Bankruptcy.

 

A building and real estate in Tikhoretsk at 63 Oktiabrskaya St. have been put up for auction. The starting price of the lot is set at 4.8 million rubles. In addition, it is planned to sell a building and land in the city of Gulkevichi at 3 Partizan Street, with a starting price set at 4.3 million rubles. The auction is scheduled for 20 November.

 

As the website Delovaya Gazeta.Yug reported, also in November there will be an auction for the sale of Jehovah's Witnesses' property in the village of Konokovo of Uspensky district, in Armavir, and in Apsheronsk and Gulkevichi districts.

 

We recall that all property of the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia and local religious organizations that are a part of its structure, which have been declared extremist, is subject to conversion to ownership of the Russian Federation.

 

Earlier the prosecutor's office sought the transfer of real estate of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Adler to ownership by the Russian Federation. In Anapa, a residence and land belonging to a local division of the Jehovah's Witnesses were transferred to RF ownership by a court's decision. (tr. by PDS, posted 11 October 2018)
