CHIEF PUTIN T.V. PROPAGANDISTS UNLEASH FULL-SCALE INFORMATION WAR AGAINST PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW

The granting of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine "is leading to aggravation of inter-civilization conflict." This was declared on 16 September by one of the most prominent propagandists of the Kremlin, the leader of the movement "Essence of Time," Sergei Kurginian on a live program of "Sunday evening with Vladimir Soloviev" on the Rossia-1 television channel.
"Patriarch Kirill and his associates have conducted themselves mildly in the extreme in the conflict between the Bandera-ites and Moscow. Ultimate correctness and meekness were displayed for the sake of avoiding a schism. Schism has been unilaterally initiated by Poroshenko and the others," IARegnum quotes Kirginian.
In his opinion, the driving force in granting autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church is the "Americans": "They obviously are twisting the arms of Bartholomew and others in such a way that they have violated all canonical rules. Bartholomew, who has begun to do this, aspires to the status of a Roman pope. He has never had this status. This is the crushing of the entire order that is 1,000 years old! In the Orthodox world, Bartholomew does not have such rights as he is starting to use. In order to fulfill the order of the American uncle (for whom what is Orthodoxy is what is Catholicism) he is breaking down the entire system of Orthodox canons."
"This is a conflict of the American world, trying to subjugate to itself a definite part of the whole," Kurginian continued his formulation. "Both Orthodoxy, changing and destroying it, and Catholicism. Everyone who is taking the mildest positions with respect to Ukraine—Illarion, Legoida (these are people with liberal Orthodox convictions)—now speaks only about a break in relations in a paralysis from nerve."
"People are being denied the possibility of performing the procedures that are for them the means of salvation of their souls. In order to heat up the inter-civilization conflict it is necessary to lose one's mind," the leader of the "Essence of Time" movement is convinced. "For a believing person, a religious institution has an essential nature which means the Ukrainian authorities are conducting a religious schism and are sharply escalating the conflict within Ukraine itself."
