JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES FINED IN NIZHNY TAGIL 100,000 RUBLES FOR POSSESSION OF EXTREMIST LITERATURE

"During monitoring activities in the building of the Nizhny Tagil local religious organization of Jehovah's Witnesses the fact of storing printed productions that are included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian federation was revealed," the report says.
The prosecutor's office opened an administrative case against the legal entity on the basis of article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Violations of Law of the RF (possession for purposes of mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published Federal List of Extremist Materials).
The court fined the organization 100,000 rubles with confiscation of the forbidden literature. (tr. by PDS, posted 15 June 2016)
