Elevator Pitch Example, compose a 30-second "elevator speech" that
would be appropriate in a networking situation. In written form, a
30-second speech will be about 50 words. Although you would normally deliver an Elevator Speech in a one-on-one networking situation rather than in front of a group, delivering your Elevator Speech to the class will give you practice in both networking and presentation skills. Plan to incorporate principles of effective presentation delivery when you give your Elevator Speech to the class. You are permitted to use a "script" while presenting your Elevator Speech, but you are eligible for bonus points if you present it without a script in a way that sounds natural and not "memorized."
