This was our “deja vu” day in which we relived the period from 9:18 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. as we regained a day after crossing the International Dateline on our 13-hour flight to San Francisco. The day began with Becky and Alex leaving for their beach place. We said our goodbyes and left a few hours

On our best weather day since Hawaii, we headed to Sydney by bus around 10 a.m., and after some confusion downtown, we got on another bus to Centennial Park and rented bikes near there. I had my usual argument at one bike place about needing a bigger bike before we moved onto a more accommodating

We were up at 5 a.m. for Alex to take us to the airport for our trip to New Zealand. Given that it was Jan. 8 back in the US and the day of the national championship college football game, Randall wore his Gator t-shirt (he didn’t find out for a couple more days that the Gators creamed Ohio
