These
weekly class digests give you an overview of what's happening in
class, what
readings are assigned, and what assignments are due.
Week 6: Class
1/Operations Management
ASSIGNED READING: Text, Chapter 14
DUE: In-Basket Exercise. This exercise will be done mostly in class in
your frame group; however, it takes two hours plus debriefing, so
groups will need to review materials and get started on the exercise
BEFORE class. More instructions will come in class.
Week 6/Work

Groups: Although you may want to use some of this time to work on
planning your group's final project, your main task today is to plan a

activity that motivates members of the class or (b) an activity that
illustrates concepts and theories about motivation. Your activity
should take about 15 minutes and should involve participation by at
least some other class members beyond our group.
